The following are professional texts that I have read during my education courses. I have also practiced strategies suggested by the authors of the book in the classroom. These texts have enhanced my knowledge on various aspects of education such as understanding that the students' brain function differently even when they are the same age, taking into account individual needs of the student and creating a safe, productive learning environment for the students.

Abstract: This video clip created by preservice teachers at Tarleton State University, describes how to use Socrative as a formative assessment tool in the classroom. It allows teachers to create a fun learning environment for the students. Socrative is a technology tool that not only enhances motivation while learning happens, but it allows teachers to get a quick overview of what the students are understanding and not understanding. Having the ability to see instant results helps the teacher identify the areas that need to be reteach.
